Therapy Services offered:

My approach is comprised of three components: first, a relational approach to therapy, where the therapeutic relationship is a partnership and a profound opportunity for healing; second, a practical approach where we work together on specific stress management, resiliency and self care practices, as well as communication skills, parenting and other techniques that are specific and evidence based; and finally, an integrative clinical approach that draws upon my years of training in different but complementary practices - EMDR psychotherapy, multiple approaches that address complex trauma, dissociation and other trauma related challenges; play, sand tray and expressive therapies, cognitive behavioral therapy techniques, and attachment focused therapy with an understanding of interpersonal neurobiology, all complementary, powerful and effective. EMDR psychotherapy is now a core part of my practice because of its effectiveness and ability to help you transform your life.

I use multiple assessments to determine your challenges and the best course of action; together we identify concrete ways you’ll know you’re making change. My expertise is in serving people coping with a wide array of trauma and anxiety related problems, including histories of complex trauma and adversity, post traumatic stress disorder and stress related challenges; helping children and their families with mental health challenges in childhood, including anxiety, phobias, behavioral problems, loss; and helping parents manage the unique challenges of parenting children on the autism spectrum. I strive to continually learn emerging skills and knowledge to provide you the best care possible.
